About this scrapbook page: |
One day when dad was out working the field, it began to rain. He moved the tractor over by a tree to keep dry when a bolt of lightning hit the tree. When he got back to the house, he was kinda laughing about getting knocked off of the tractor. Mom wasn’t amused. The tree's just a piece of wood stuck in the ground now, but it's still standing.

I love it. When I found the tree still there it was a surprise. Dad never went under another tree when it started to storm. He would always tell me stay away from trees if I was out on my horse and it started to rain.
