I guess this is where a mom has to pretend she doesn't want to wrap her kid up in bubble wrap before sending him off to football??? The bruises are green and black now, to match his uniform lol. Kevin, age 11, height 5'4", weight 125lbs.

lol I won't tell you all the injuries I got in baseball then ;) tee hee. I decided that soccer, football, baseball, hockey, rugby - it's all the same if you get hit with the ball or run over by a bigger player haha!

What a great page! Good job on being brave sending your son out at for football - I think I am hoping my son has more interest in baseball then football when he gets to that age so it is easier on mom :0)

great memory page for your son! I used to have a rule for my sons, who played hockey, football and rugby...if you end up on the ground and you're not up quick, mommy's coming out there!!! haha!! Of course, my husband was there to hold me back from actually doing it and humiliating my sons! No serious injuries ever, knock on wood!
