About this scrapbook page: |
Tomorrow, my parent's house will no longer belong in our family. After Dad died last year, we put the house up for sale. It sold last week, and closing is tomorrow. How strange it feels! This was their home for more than 30 years. It's the only home many of my siblings have known. Yet, we must remember that even though the house may be gone, the home will always remain, because it is the people who are the home.

The center photo is Mom and Dad on their wedding day. I included and blended several family photos you have already seen. Most of the elements are by Jen Ulasiewicz Designs. Lace and button elements are from the collab kit "Creation 23" available at Shabby Pickle.

i can empathize with your feeling about letting go of your home, difficult but one of those times when we most feel "home is where the heart is."

this is an outstanding, extraordinary, special page - very artistic layout and full of loving, sentimental feeling in photos and mood - really one of the best of its kind that i've ever seen. the LOVE wordart cum photo frame is awesome and your photo treatment, as usual is great!
