I imagine the moon goddess during a lunar eclipse and how lonely and sad she must be. Don't you just remember your own personal eclipses in life? Last Feb. 9, there was a penumbral eclipse (a partial eclipse as the Moon only fell within the Earth's outer shadow vis-a-vis its umbra or inner dark shadow) but though visible here, I didn't watch it at all, lunar eclipses depress me. Though there'd be some penumbral and partial eclipses this year, the next total eclipse wll be on dec 21st, 2010.

This is for anyone going through some dark phase in their life - may we still feel the sun despite the dark and remember the sun will shine again on you sooner or later - may it be sooner. :)
