About this scrapbook page: |
From 1990 to 2003 I was a volunteer puppy walker/brood bitch holder for Guide Dogs for the blind. During this time I took hundreds of photos but this one of Clover and 6 wk.old Jewel is amongst my favorites. Golden Retriever Clover was the 1st. puppy I walked but she was withdrawn because of ill health age 2 and came home to live with me. Sadly I lost my beautiful girl in 2005 age 14.

This morning, the sky takes the color of lead; it was stained by dark masses. Eddies of garish crows. The colors were not pleasant and had nothing to do with golden fields of Van Gogh, overflown by the crows. The vibrant colors, balanced, I found them in your gallery. Your pages brighten up my day and make me forget the black clouds that ride all day. I think we have a winter in black and white.

very cute photo and such gorgeous dogs. can see why this photo is one of your favorite. SO sorry for your loss. so tough to lose on of our beloved furkids. I am sure CLover knew what a lucky girl she was to have found a loving home after she had to withdraw from the program.
