For the first time in my life, I spent Christmas Eve in a motel room. Mark and I decided to make this Christmas special and spend it in Lancaster County, PA. We left the motel early on Christmas morning and rode around the Amish countryside. We stopped at various spots so that Mark could play a couple of songs and sing. Simple and free.

Photo taken by me and edited in Paint Shop Pro X2. I converted it to black and white and then added a couple of filters to soften. It does look amazingly better if you enlarge the view.

I may be a bit biased, but this is definitley one of my favorites of all time...I was singing either Memories of you by Ryan Adams, or My Own Town or True by Glen Phillips...I went through a couple of verses of each when we were at this site
