About this scrapbook page: |
This page was inspired after speaking with my son about divorce. He'd just found out one of his friend's parents are going through a very messy one. Sadly, a total of three families in his class alone are currently going through the process of divorce. Hard way to start a new school year.

The poem and layout are my own. The Girl in the Window is a wonderful Salvidor Dali creation. I used PSP X2

The sun has returned, but not trying to dethrone the light of your gallery. The rain has disappeared with its melancholy but nostalgia has not abandoned your pages. The "scrap" always owns a little sum of regret. You “stop” a good moment because you are afraid not to meet it again. I feel so good, strolling in your gallery. Thank you again. What an inspiring page. It is always so hard for children to understand divorce. For some reason people just don't try to work things out anymore.

This page is wonderful. I love everything about it. Your poem is so moving too. There aren't very many people who aren't touched by divorce in some way in their life and it's always got ripples of sadness that touch everyone around them.
