This is an old catholic church in a beautiful mountain village called Spania Dolina near our town in Slovakia built in 12th century and partially repaired in 17th century. The result is a mixture of gothic and rennesaince styles. Because it's situated on the hill above the village, the long covered wooden stairs with 140 steps lead to the church. I tell you, the people living there must have been in a good physical condition ;-)
