Ellie's Daddy is in the Navy, stationed in Norfolk, VA. Two weeks ago, he left for a six-month deployment. He works on a submarine, and the family is not allowed to know where he is. So as Beth and Ellie look out over the water, they both think ... "Daddy's out there somewhere." :-(

Background paper from Starscraps "Butterfly Jungle" paper pack. Edge brushes by Rhonna Farrer at Two Peas. Alphabet by Moonlightscraps. I have blended the photo onto the background paper and applied an "illustrator" filter.

I know Ellie doesn't really understand yet. But I'm sure it tears Beth up inside not knowing where Dave is. But we love them all and we're praying from them and his safe return. Could you let her know that?
