About this scrapbook page: |
The title of this scrap is an invented mantra - a combination of Hindu and Egyptian; just found myself chanting it as I was doing this scrap - wanted to do another scrap of my favorite god-goddess couple. "Isis" and "Osiris" by themselves are considered mantras by Egyptians, thus the repetition (besides I love Egyptian fonts).

Images from the net - the statue; I just love this Isis and Osiris statue; the background paper, moths and barley. Barley is associated with Osiris as he's also god of vegetation but I don't know why I feel like putting moths in my scraps for Isis and Osiris (I did in the previous one too) - just felt right.
