About this scrapbook page: |
Postcard Challenge Our Genealogy Group rode the old train from Van Buren, Arkansas up through the mountains. Beautiful scenery, streams, wildlife, 3 old trestles to cross, a tunnel to go through and then high above the trees the beautiful view of what I call God's Carpet. Top speed was 35 miles an hour with old cars that were made in 1901, 1904, 1905. I took the photos while on the trip.
