Created for the "Here Comes The Bride!" challenge.

My husband proposed to me on the shores of a Rocky Mtn. lake, and a small inn (the Baldpate Inn) was nearby. We researched the history of the inn, whose name was based upon a popular Victorian novel. In the novel, seven guests are given seven separate keys to the inn. In the *real* inn, there is a Key Room with over 20,000 keys in it of all different sizes and types.

Thus, a Victorian-themed wedding was appropriate, and old skeleton keys were our main theme. We were married in the very spot he proposed to me at the lake, and our reception was held at the Baldpate Inn, just outside their famous Key Room.

We still collect old keys now, and they are a symbol of our lovely wedding day, and our amazing love for each other.
