For the "Somebody famous from your country" challenge.... Although I really really really haven't time to scrap pages, I did this one anyhow...pffff Now I'm off back to what I ought to be doing!

acknowledged as one of the greatest painters of the dutch golden age, vermeer's baroque paintings of ordinary domestic life is indeed much celebrated as you've pointed out in your excellent journal. girl with pearl earring, i believe, is one of his best works and rivals da vinci's mona lisa - excellent choice - and you've scrapped it in such a way to make it more haunting. great job!
