This morning I, a few other girls from Tulane University, and hundreds of people from throughout the New Orleans area participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. We, as a team were able to raise $303, and as a community, even in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, were able to raise millions of dollars in support of finding a cure.

The people of this city are truly great.
