About this scrapbook page: |
I had never heard of Giuseppe before until checking out this challenge. What amazing art work. I found this very difficult to start with but once I got going it turned into a lot of fun. My starting point was a watermelon which I shaped slightly to represent the head then it built from there. I carved the eyes & inserted blueberries behind. In NZ we have an annual show of wearable art so I decided he could be the Patron Saint of Edible Art

Most of this are extracted images of fruit & vege from the Net The background is several blended papers with a couple of overlays by Studio Mika & Studio Manu Finally turned into a oil pastel with texture in Fotosketcher
