For My Creative Christmas Tree Challenge.
I hope it is OK, I was making circles for 2 days, LOL.
I made a circle. Then I made another circle smaller, inside the first one, in another layer. I selected the smaller and, in the layer of the bigger I deleted the selection. Then I deleted the layer of the smaller. So, I had something like a ring. I changed the size using perspective for a 3d appearance and I added glowing effects.

Then I duplicated the layer lots of times, shrinking it a little more each time, and placing each layer above the previous to resemble a tree. I was making this for ever, LOL. The bulbs are circles with some effects too. Finally I made the background and the base with free brushes.
I tried to explain it in my poor english, sure it´s not correctly writed, but I hope you can understand anyway.
