About this scrapbook page: |
This is a page I scanned from my collection of children's books. The book is entitled "Little Boy Blue" and was illustrated by Alice Schlesinger in 1966. I edited the picture to make it look as if they are playing at nighttime. The little girl has gotten distracted by the moonlight. The boy behind the door is the one hiding; not very well, but in fact isn't that one of the fun things about hide and seek? Even the poodle is getting in on the action. I've included the original page for you to see.

Photo edited with lots of layering and backlighting in both PSPX2 and PSE6. Had to experiment with putting layers of light behind the individual children in order to brighten them. Overlay by Vera Lim. Background layered paper by Catherine Designs. Book published by Whitman Small World Library.
