For the challenge American Wild West Gunslingers & Other Colorful Charcters Some of William "Bill" Doolin's time was spent in Oklahoma robbing banks, he is buried in Guthrie, Oklahoma. From this photo of the grave site someone is still placing flowers on the grave site.

Lovely page and interesting info. Amazing that one can still visit his grave site, and that there are fresh flowers on the grave. Makes your mind wonder who it might be - a family member.....

So interesting - The Wild Bunch, and then he finally settled down and was shot. Still I suppose he terrorised people for years. I love the layout - the photo and the tombstone and the elements. These are some of may favourite challenges - I learn a lot about American history. Great page, Betty!!!
