I've been listening to the music of Les Miserables the past few days. And that always makes me want to create something with some of the lyrics. These words are from the final scene, when Jean Valjean is nearing death. They give me shivers every time I hear them. I wanted to apply the thought to the love between Ellie and her Grandfather Farnum. This one looks a whole lot better if you enlarge the view.

Photo of field of flowers was taken by Mark on his way home from Oregon a year or so ago. I extracted Ellie and her grandfather from a setting by a pool and put them into the field. Edited in PSPX2 and in fotosketcher. Overlays by Vera Lim and Gypsy Chick.
