About this scrapbook page: |
Wow. This is one of those that looks sooooo much better if you enlarge the view. Definitely loses something in the smaller size. This is me and two of my sisters and one of my brothers, taken in the days when we lived on a farm. I would guess the date to be about 1957. I've been trying to work with some of my old, tiny family photos from those days. Memories. Four more children were to follow in years to come. (I'm the one all the way to the right)

I did several modes of blending to change the hue and the lighting of the old, faded photo. The photo was so faded, I could barely make out who was in it. So I was pretty happy with what I was able to bring out. Then did a slight smoothing with LucisArt and applied a couple of gradients. Edge brushes by Rhonna Farrer. Butterflies by New Life Dreams.

This is so beautiful and soft and really the effects give it that faraway days feel. It is so beautiful. You were all such dear looking little children. It makes me kind of sad. Where have all the days gone? You such a delightful little child. Such a delightful delicate memory to capture and your work on this is full of memory and I think melancholy and indeed, love.
