About this scrapbook page: |
This is an image I found when I did a search for cemetery art. I am very drawn to worn and corroded statuary. This Sunday is my Grandmother's birthday. She left us in 1986. My Mom left in 2006 and my Dad just left us last January. The wounds of life. They hurt. But truly, where would we be without those things that have made us go deeper?

sometimes you look at art and all you can do is stare at it because it so touching and beautiful. This is one of those times.
