About this scrapbook page: |
Made for the TABOO challenge The Padaung, or the Long Necks, are a minority group within the Karen tribe - one of the largest hill tribe groups in Southeast Asia. According to Padaung legend, the tradition began as a tribute to the mythological progenitor of the tribe, who is believed to have been a beautiful female dragon. great page! sorry i missed the challenge! interesting, just few days ago i watched a TV documentary about this this. personly, i don't like when people deforme their bodies, not even with extra high heel shoes as some ladies do in our "supposedly civil western live society" :)
