About this scrapbook page: |
While visiting the site of our 2005 wedding over the weekend, I spotted several of these gorgeous little wildflowers. They were only a couple of inches tall, and were growing from the most impossible places - between rocks, in very dry, chalky ground. I learned that they are called pasque flowers, and they only emerge from the ground after the winter snowpack has melted. I love this little gift that Mother Nature left for my husband and me at the breathtaking site where we shared our vows.
