Tell Haley About Where You Live
This is a personal request from me. My granddaughter, Haley, is becoming quite an avid reader and some of her favorite books (other than the Goosebump books) are ones about "far away places" (anywhere further than 10 miles from where she lives...lol). So I am asking all of you to help me create a very special book for her.
Would each of you create a scrap(s) about where you live. Maybe have some photos of your area of the world and tell her some fun facts? If you create only 1 page please put in your journaling "Hi, Haley. My name is... and I live..." then tell her a little about where you live. If you create more than 1 scrap, just put the above on only the first page and I will group them together. I am going to print this out for her birthday.
New pages only. Only 1 winning scrap per person. Anyone with more than 1 winning scrap, the scrap(s) with lower scores will be removed after voting has ended. Voting will end before the challenge ends.
Challenge Requirements:
1. Please put "Hello, Haley. My name is..., and I live..." on the page. If you create more than 1 page, you don't need to put this on all pages because I will group them together by person.
2. Please make your scrap size 12x12.
3. Tell Haley anything you want about your city, state, and/or country. Keep in mind she is 10 years old, so some fun facts, too.
4. Please include some photos. I would prefer your own since I will be printing this out for her, but if you use internet images, please make sure they are from public domain.
5. Thanks in advance to all of you for helping with this. I know she will love it!! Her birthday isn't until May, but I will be sure to get a pic of her with the book and share it!
