Surreal Art - Part 1
Time for another art challenge to keep you on your toes LOL. This time I want us to experiment with the art style called 'Surreal'
Definition of surreal - having the disorienting, hallucinatory quality of a dream; unreal; fantastic
This is going to be in 2 parts so part 1 is about finding out what surreal art is & finding an existing surreal painting from the net that appeals to you.
Adding something to this painting to make it your own & then scrapping it if you so wish.
Part 2 will be taking what you have learnt & creating your own surreal art page - but that is for the next challenge not this one. I thought we should learn to walk before we run LOL.
Challenge Requirements:
Research Surreal art - there are plenty of examples on the net
Find a Surreal art painting that you like
Add something to this that will enhance the painting still within the 'surreal' context
Scrap it if you wish. This may include framing
Please create a 2nd page showing the original art & any elements you have added to it. Also include on the 2nd page the name of the painting & artist if known but only upload your 1st page to the challenge
You may enter up to 3 pages but only 1 can win

Cannot enter you page in another challenge while this one is running
I will finish the voting a day early so I can chose my final COC
This may be a little out of your comfort zone but I hope you will give it a go & enjoy the experience
