I did this for the bridge challenge. This bridge is located between Paeroa and Waihi
This photo was taken by Funtastic on our week away. This is the bridge over the Karagahake gorge river. Karagahake was a gold mining town of 2000 citizens.
Two hotels, to bands. a school of mines and a junior school, which still stands today.
Despite the money passing through the banks, when the mines closed the town was gradually dismantled.
