If I didn't know how old I was, perhaps, would I be ageless?? I don't really think of myself in years, but I measure myself in how I feel...in fact whenever I'm asked my age. I need to sit down and calculate. This is very beautifully depicted, Frances, I agree though, there is a depth of sadness to this page....hugs to you xxx

There is almost something confronting about the figure with the doll, and a broody mysteriousness about the question and the design of the page. I wonder how old we would say we were if we couldn't look into a mirror? I find this almost surreal artistic expression very compelling, and yes, ponderous.

How interesting is that question. For me, 97. I also love the dark moodiness of the layout - the dark wooden floor and the doll like girl holding the doll. More so, the little girl with her back to us, holding a bucket, in a swirl of memories. And the greens and blues of the backdrop.
