I've been sitting on this for a while. It's for "show me your bird" challenge. This is a beautiful NZ bird and if you are lucky enough to have one of it's nectar producing trees in your garden then you are honoured with it's presence.

Your tui is a very beautiful bird...I too live in a yard that is a little paradise to birds...unfortunately having the cold cold winters, they do not hang around all year! But we certainly enjoy them and their wonderful melodies, while they are here!!
