Made for the "Poetry PLEASE" challenge.
I wrote this and gave it to my Aunt Ruth in 1999, shorty after the death of my mother.
Writing poems helped me through some very difficult time, especially after the death of my daughter.
If this is not considered a poem, just let me know and I will remove it.

It is a poem Scrappy, and I should know, having taught Literature at Uni level - poems are expressions and this is beautiful. I know before you have said your Aunt was like your second Mum. Each line is an image of a memory - some sad some happy, and I think it is very moving. I love the way you have blended her photo into the background.
