Did this page for Autism Awareness challenge. When I saw the challenge it gave me the idea to scrap Doug. He came to us as a one on one aide and the principle asked if he could do the job. We said we would try and we'd teach him what to do. He's been great. He gives me a HUG everyday before leaving which is rare for Autistic kids as well as adults:) He is a high functioning Autism. Great guy:)

Beautifully Done! It is so wonderful about Doug! My daughter is a special education teacher and she has an 1st grade austic child in her classroom with her all day and she loves him as if he was her own! It is so encouraging to know that they can and will become active adults! God Bless You!
