Love how you told this story, very entertaining!! I'm so sorry about your camera tho, as someone who HAS TO HAVE my camera with me at all times, (some carry cell phones? i carry a camera!) I can purely understand that sick feeling you got as your hubby told you he left it on the roof of the car.
Once again sorry about your "not so good day", but you sure can tell a story!!

Bless your heart. And I thought things like that only happened to me. It has been many years, but one week-end while going camping with friends a large duffel bag of clothes, etc was lost from the back of our truck. Had almost forgotten until reading your story, so years from now it will be only a faint memory.. Hope you got some good pictures with your other camera.

How sad, but accidents happen, maybe there's a reason the "lucky" family needed your stuff more than you did and you provided for them. Anyhow, great read and am happy Adam had an unforgetable birthday anyhow.
