These photographs show the actual climb. Although it's not a particularly huge mountain, the ascent is pretty difficult as the surface underfoot consists of VERY loose rock and shale and you can end up going two steps back for every one forward. In some places there is an almost sheer drop at the side of the path too..Not to be tackled in bad visibility!

You would have thought with all your work on ya house you would have the experience to whip up there, cut in the steps and have then tiled in shale and still be finished before David came back from a week in the old Dart. Stop all these people slipping backwards.
