I took these photos during the summer vacation in Catania, Sicily, which is the title of the page, in July 2005, spent with my boyfriend who is just from that city. The journaling says "Our vacation in Catania has been the first one so long spent together and we enjoyed it a lot. The beach is made of black sand and of eruptive rock, really striking. Obviously I immediately became red (tanned) like a red pepper and I got blisters everywhere, but surely it's been worth the while!!".
