For the challenge: "If you are reading this..." ~ Australian soldiers have been killed recently in Iraq leaving behind their wives and young children ~ some are wondering why they are even there ~ but we all do what our Governments dictate..to whatever country they are sent to or from..your comments and thoughts are always welcome...hugs from Down Under..

Great tribute Jan. I served a lady at work today whose husband is deployed in Iraq, He wont be home for Christmas. lets also pray for the victims in the war torn countries as well.

This is very beautiful - thank you for joining in the challenge. A soldier is a soldier no matter what country. And our soldiers unite to fight for the same cause. May God Bless them all. The challenge is remember we do have soldiers in harms way and to let them know we appriciate what they do and to wish them a Merry Christmas.

Nice rememberance page Jan. I concur with everything that Jan has commented on her tag comments and the comments in the challenge page itself. It is sad the that the smaller countries are often forgotten in all these great wars, that I can only conclude are a vanity, for our men do often die in vain... and one has to ask oneself why.
