About this scrapbook page: |
On the 18th of July 1962 I read the book that I got from my sister for my 21st birthday a day before. I was grown up and I knew everything. The book was The Little Prince. I realised how wrong I was. I knew ever since how wrong I still am!

I spotted your page a couple of days ago, but didn't feel qualified to comment as I had never read the book...now, after finding and reading an online version of it, I too look at life a little differently! Thank you for the introduction! (The practical Taurean in me, however, still wants to know who made the King's ermine robe, lol!!!) I like your page and your star and I'm just wondering..10+10!

Miki, this is very intereting and leaves the doors of interpretation wide open (hence the wide open spaces)...where in the world could he be? It is like many of the childhood questions we ask endlessly, why? for which we need an answer, but are often satisfied with a tidbit. I must admit I haven't read the book, but this has inspired me to do just that speedy quick-incredible imagination & vision.

To me who hasn't read the book this is a bit wired to see a page like this, but somehow I like it... 10+10 from me.

i love the part you chose to scrap - showing the eternal child in you who wonders about the fate of the little prince and his flower and laments about how grownups will never know why this is so important, using the image that leaves a lot of space for the playful imagination. thanks for joining this challenge and for your touching contribution.
