About this scrapbook page: |
Thanks David for this challenge. I was going to do it myself, but you beat me to it. Actually the Brocklebinder Sister's were my ancestors, and I am so proud to have them in my familie's Heritage. I am so proud of them that I still wear my Brocklebinder today. Before the French invented the Brassiere, the German's invented the Brockle. A little known fact. LOL!!!

Wow! What a fantastic claim to fame! To be descended from one of the world renowned Brocklebinder sisters! AND to possess one of the last remaining original authentic articles of this essential piece of attire with which to bind your brockles! Great to know you'll always be in perfect shape! I'm soooo jealous! (And I'm sure the sisters didn't MEAN to cause a War- so they're forgiven!) Wonderful!

Brilliant - really in the spirit of the challenge. bbb was right calling it brokel, this is the correct German spelling. Originally of course the brokelhalter, which by the way only came in one size. Of course one of the main reasons for the Great War was the French stealing the patented brokelhalter design from Germany. When the Germasn got no satisfaction in court, it was war!

Great page. So glad to finally know what a brokel is or was. Was not sure if I had one or had it. Don't remember seeing it in Beaches maybe it was the wrong beach or planet. Hehehe!!! 10+10
