well it didn't take too much imagination to see that across from the kangaroo is the National bird, the Emu. Second to the Ostrich for size of birds around the world and a character in their own right. Old man emu can run the pants off a kangaroo (song) and it is the male that sits on the eggs and does most of the raising of chicks.

I like the sound of emus! The guys raise the kids? While Mrs Emu gallivants off to Rugby Matches and the pub?! Hope she realises what a treasure she's got there! This page deserves challenge points just cos Ebeneezer Emu is such a good egg! No pun intended. Very well done!
