THERE ARE ABOUT 10 SEPERATE WILDFIRE STORMS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THEY STARTED LAST SATURDAY. ALTHOUGH THEY ARE CURRENTLY NOT NEAR WHERE I LIVE, ASH IS STARTING TO FALL AND THE SMOKE IS COMING THRU. WE WERE IN A "STAY IN PLACE" AND NO ONE WAS ALLOWED TO VENTURE OUT OF THE CLASSROOMS. PLEAS KEEP ALL WHO ARE SO DEEPLY AFFECTED BY THIS EMERGENCY IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!

What I find incredible is that I have seen nothing of this on Irish TV. I know I don't watch very often, but this is horrendous. I can't believe these are started on purpose? Great page, and the satellite(/) pic of the smoke is amazing. 10+10

Last year at this time 4 firefighters lost their lives fighting these types of horrible fires. I thank God that we have not lost a firefighter this past week. I alos wonder just what kind of heartless person can go around setting these fires.......... . your page is very interting. good job.

thank you for posting this page, before I moved to California 17 years ago these fires were just a picture on tv. Today I'm in a very safe place in San Diego but if I wanted to leave I couldn't because there are fires in every direction.

We sent 52 more firefighters and 2 more helicopters down to help you early this morning. We already send a bunch and are all praying for you, as you do for us in our time of need up here in Oregon. Beautiful page but wish the need for this hadn't happened.

we have been watching it too from the UK on the news and its terrifying. those firemen are doing a brave and admirable job trying to get it under control!! if your family and friends are involved we wish them well and hope they stay safe. our prayers are with everyone affected by it. thanx for the page!! :)
