It had been an extremely long day. We had woken up long before day break to catch our flight from Heathrow to JFK. After spending the day sightseeing in New York, we caught a late afternoon flight down to Miami only to arrive and find that half our luggage had not accompanied us. Matthew lay back against his rugsack and fell asleep right there where we were waiting for our missing bags. Jetlag and a long day had caught up with him!
