Improvement of children's and young adults' functional literacy via reading is one cause that is dear to me - I promote it as much as I can even in my job. I think it's sad that most young people today haven't developed fondness for reading. Please watch out for my upcoming challenge on cultivating reading as a habit and hobby - I've created the challenge but it doesn't show so I'm watching out for it too! *lol* I'm entering this scrap to the PROMOTE A CAUSE challenge.

Great page. Kate you should enter this in the Support a cause challenge. Literacy is a real cause. I love books. The young people in my life like all there gadgets. Do not understand books. Very sad.
