Just some questions for us to ponder upon. No malice intended here :). I hope I do not offend anyone.
Fyi, it takes me quite a while to put the little brads together on the heart, so I hope you can show me some kindness in terms of yr comments or points given please! It is so discouraging to get such low points for a painstaking effort! Hugs, Shikin :)

I just came across this page ~ it's really well done and I joined here to make new friends, to post my scrap pages and then I found the voting system so I vote 10 in challenges for other people's pages who are in the same challenge as myself ~ I love this site and am glad I found my way here ~ which was actually through downloading the SBF software ~ you get a 10 from me....

the real difficult question is: can i really give higher points to someone i don't know who has a better scrap than mine or a friend's? if more people answer yes, then we'd see more deserving winners. if more people answer no, then let's stop complaining about popular people winning. it's hard but sometimes being fair means having to be "unkind."

beautiful page, shikin. i discovered sbf, not because i was looking for friends, but because i need more venues for creating. i've come to love it here however because there are real people here, some of whom have become valued friends. it's wonderful when friendship blossoms because people are true to themselves and one another. everything happens naturally.

I give mostly 10's - never lower than a seven and that only in challenges - I feel that those who put in extra effort deserve extra points! I got 2 challenge points on one of my snowball fight pages- not the best i've ever done but... it bothers me everytime I look at that page now! When I go to a challenge page, I vote on everyones pages- not just my friends - that's how I find new friends!

It's really too bad that some people want to either be critical or scheme to make their own pages come out on top. It would be nice if everyone could be positive, find something good in each and every page. Give a page a "thumb's up" or nothing at all.

i like what you say. i still consider myself 'new' here and i don't really like the 'points' thing. most people that scrap are artist and being judged is actually very detrimental to an artist - it inhibits their creativity. I really just like the nice comments and obviously if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all :>)
