I don't quite know how this page came about but I love this Michael Cox painting and I thought it was a perfect venue for something dramatic. It's a bit influenced by Ms. Saigon though too long to explain.
Another entry for the AOTW challenge. Thank you for any votes & comments.

The first time I looked at this artwork, I didnt know how to describe it, I just felt the subtle emotions you poured while weaving the artwork. Very simple but the message is there...I felt it strong. =)

I look at this work of art that kate has done, and I remember back to the time that I was in Vietnam, and my wife with sit huddled with the children thinking maybe he will be home today. I am sure that many of us have sat in th dark waiting for someone. Kate this is a beautiful work of art and a strong reminder of those days.
