About this scrapbook page: |
What I wrote beneath my picture on this scrapbook page is what I felt after seeing this picture for the first time in YEARS. I'm very much into writing what I feel. This is how I felt. This is not meant to offend or upset anyone. Thank you

I agree wholeheartedly.... if the parents don't get along, then go ahead and divorce because it is better for the kids not to hear all the fighting and bickering. BUT don't try to turn the kids against the other parent... YOU are getting divorced, not the child and his/her parent! Let them continue with their relationship with them. Good job!

Beautiful and touching page.....happy that you got a relation with your sister and dad now, sad that you had to wait to long....don't know what else to say, every situation is different...so many things happen in live...it's always sad when love turns into hate or something... I so agree with what angel scrapper said ---its what we do with this experience that counts in the end.----

So many wonderful comments. Thank you. I wouldn't change anything in my life. I have so much. I'm married to a wonderful man, and I have two delightful little boys. The journaling I did was how I felt when I first saw this picture after so many years. I now have a relationship with my dad and my sister. Thank you everyone.

What you say is true. Children have the right to love both mom and dad, no matter if they are divorced or still in the marriage :)

Wow, this is a wonderful page and terrific advice! I will celebrate 14 years of marriage in a couple of weeks. We waited till our late 20's to get married because we both wanted to be sure we found the right mate : )
