I found this poem on the Animal Planet web site after the news of Mr. Irwin's death. I read it and was so touched. I contacted the author and asked if I could reproduce it. I was thrilled when Mrs. Pignataro said that she would be honored. I wanted to share this with all of you.
I was so amazed after reading this. It just touched me. I hope that you enjoy it as well.

well done, ive been to OZ ZOO and wished we had met steve but he was off saving the world.....he will be missed so much and the world is a little less happy .... great page and thanx to the author i love it
