This is one of my favorite pictures of my daughter Zoe. She has always been my happy, free spirit. When I saw the Sunny Sunflowers Challenge I saw the perfect chance to make this page!
The poem by Alice Slater reads, "The sunflower/So unphased by the world’s conflict,/It boldly sets about its mission,/To grow tall and strong and quick,/ Lapping in the sun’s nuclear fission.” It describes Zoe's spirit!
