This is a Goldfinch, the New Jersey State Bird.
I created this page because after several attempts to photograph this Yellow Goldfinch I finally managed to capture it this morning!
The first time I planted our garden here, the birds came. My neighbor Denise, was in awe! She had not seen a Goldfinch "in years since she was little!" I was happy. The garden had brought joy to another!
