About this scrapbook page:
My genealogical research has led me to an expected Scottish heritage. My great-great-grandfather, The Rev. Thomas Harrison Vipond immigrated to Canada, married a Canadian lady in Quebec and became father to several children including "Emma" who came to America with her family in 1858 and ultimately married into the family that bears my surname. It was only by chance that I was able to obtain this photograph of her, and I will cherish it always.
