The City of Baguio is a 1st class highly urbanized city in northern Luzon in the Philippines. Baguio City was established by Americans in 1900 at the site of an Ibaloi village known as Kafagway. Blessed with a cool climate, varieties of vegetables and flowers are grown here.
Every February, the city of Baguio celebrates Panagbenga ("means a season of blooming or a time for flowering") Flower Festival, a homage to the beautiful flowers the city is famous for.
