Scrapped for Color Combo Brown and Pink challenge by OklaomaDawn. I am one proud great-granny! After Sissy got a horrible bacterial infection she couldn’t nurse the babies after two and a half weeks. At first I had to force feed them, they wanted nothing but momma. Not only was it stressful for me, but for momma and the babies also. After a week and a half I finally found a method they all like. I use a miniature glass bowl, add the formula, and my thumb. Now feeding time is a pleasure!

PS Linda - It was Lizzie's 4th litter (40 pups in all) and she was retired as a brood bitch for Guide dogs after this last litter and she stayed with me and died 6 years ago age 14..... xx

pups looking great and you are doing so well - My black Lab Lizzie had to have a mastectomy when her 12 yes 12 pups where 3 weeks old - I had great fun hand rearing those little beauties - my life was not my own but I loved every minute- and all but one went on to become a guide dog for the blind - I was one proud mommy. xxxx
