About this scrapbook page:
This is my first page, and I learned a lot from having done it. Only two of the men shown on the page are still living: myself and my uncle who was awarded the purple heart during WW II. I do not neccessarily support what is going on in the middle east right now, but I certainly support our troops. I'm sure that there were others in my family that served, but these were the only pictures that I had to work with...Pix Fixer

What an amazing tribute to your military heritage! Your layout of photos on the sunset background, with the Iwo Jima flag-raising image prominently grounding the composition, makes a cohesive statement about the importance and personal cost of securing America's hard-won liberty. I salute you and your family. Thank you for sharing this with us. It's a remarkable first page.

Fantastic tribute page, loved the way you incorporated the old photos and the new by making them all black and white. The photo from Iwo Jima is a true testament to the spirit, preseverance, dedication, bravery and love for our country that everyone serving or that had served in the military has fought for and defended...FREEDOM...may we always honor and appreciate those who have chose to defend us.
